At McMahon Law, PLC we believe privacy and discretion are hallmarks of a good law firm that we strive to exhibit in all aspects of our practice, including our website.  Except as discussed in the following paragraph, McMahon Law, PLC does not collect, nor do we allow any third-party to collect, any information, none, zero, zip, regarding a visitor to our website.  Nor do we use, or allow any third-party to use, tracking cookies.  If you decide you want to learn more about McMahon Law, PLC, want to retain us or otherwise make your presence known, we trust you will contact us instead of waiting for us to fill your inbox with marketing emails. 

 

Exception.  Our Client Portal is intended to be used by clients of McMahon Law, PLC only.  Therefore, to protect our clients’ privacy and the security of electronic information stored on our systems, McMahon Law, PLC makes every attempt to collect information and uses tracking cookies regarding visitors that have two or more unsuccessful attempts to log into the Client Portal in a 24-hour period or four unsuccessful attempts in a 30-day period; and, if our security systems detect the presence of software commonly associated with malicious attempts to breach secure servers.  The information collected pursuant to this exemption is used only to defend against attempts to gain unauthorized access to the Client Portal and defend against attempts to defeat the security measures in place to protect the Client Portal.  The information collected pursuant to this exception is shared only with the technology security vendor retained by McMahon Law, PLC and, if necessary, law enforcement.
